Synthetic perspectives, not user research. For demonstration and hypothesis generation only.
Methodology & evidence

Useful hypotheses need visible limits.

This lab combines a domain schema, behavioral archetypes, synthetic participant context, public evidence, a hypothetical scenario, and a language model. It does not create research evidence.

Long disclosure

The Smartsheet Persona Lab models a deliberately varied set of fictional Smartsheet-user archetypes and a small curated set of synthetic participant instantiations beneath them. The schema and records are editorially constructed from public Smartsheet product, help, developer, security, and use-case materials, with schema design inspired by the open-source MatrAIx Persona project. Generated answers combine declared archetype behavior, optional participant context, a hypothetical scenario, public evidence, and a language model. They are not survey responses, customer quotations, usage telemetry, or evidence of population prevalence. Evidence links support product-context claims; they do not validate each predicted opinion.

Gartner material and private customer data are intentionally excluded. Important decisions should be validated with real customers, usability tests, accessibility testing, and customer discovery.

How this could get better
Machine-readable coverage

30 archetypes · 30 seed participants.

Coverage shows presence across declared archetype buckets; it is not a population estimate.

How to read an answer

Public evidence

What a linked Smartsheet product, help, or developer source actually supports.

Archetype inference

How declared traits such as permission, proficiency, customization investment, or mobile reliance shape a likely reaction.

Participant context

How a fictional individual instantiation can add bounded variation without becoming customer evidence.

Scenario inference

What the hypothetical product question assumes, plus what remains uncertain.
